ABERDEEN -- The EdCC women's soccer team blanked Grays Harbor 8-0 Saturday afternoon to improve to 5-1 overall on the year, 3-1 in league action.
Lexie Gray and Keana King each scored twice in the victory with Claudia Brasino, Alecia Longsine, Lauren Rodger and Hannah Longsine adding a single goal to the triumph.
The Tritons took a 3-0 into intermission thanks to a goal by Gray (14 min) and two by King (32 and 34). Gray opened up the second with a goal in the 50th minute and Brasino tallied her first of the season in minute 70 to make the score 5-0.
Alecia Longsine, Rodger and Hannah Longsine scored in minutes 76, 83 and 88, respectively.
Alecia Longsine and Peyton Pruett recorded halves in goal to combine on the shut out. The Triton back line of Tara Gregory, Haylee and Hanna Longsine, Michaela Moren, Olivia Olason and Riquelle Weaver allowed five shots on goal.
Edmonds returns home for two games this weekend, hosting Bellevue Friday at 5 pm and Tacoma Saturday at 3 pm.
