Walla Walla Box | North Idaho Box

The Edmonds Community College men's soccer team went 0-1-1 on a two-game road trip against some of the NWAC's toughest teams. On Monday the Tritons tied Walla Walla 0-0 before losing 3-0 at North Idaho on Tuesday.

The two games puts Edmonds at 1-4-1 on the season.

EdCC recorded five shots on goal at Walla Walla but all were turned back by Warrior keeper Francisco Flores. Triton goalie Arturo Oberto was outstanding, recording 11 saves on the day.

Walla Walla's record now stands at 4-3-2.

The North Idaho Cardinals improved to 6-0 on the year following its triumph against EdCC. NIC scored in minutes 28, 67 and 80, posting goals against both Arturo Oberto and Brandon Swanson.

Kyle Bender scored two of the Cardinal goals. NIC keeper Robert Powell tallied 10 saves to preserve the shut out.

EdCC returns home for two contests at Triton Field this weekend. On Friday the team hosts West Foes Bellevue at 7:15 pm and Tacoma on Saturday at 5:15 pm.
