LYNNWOOD - The Edmonds Community College women's soccer team trailed visiting Olympic College 2-0 deep into the second half of its NWAC league game Thursday. But the Tritons would score five goals in an 18-minute span en route to a 5-3 win. Keana King and Lexie Gray each notched two goals in the victory, with Alecia Longsine scoring the other.

Emily Wilkins gave the Rangers a 2-0 advantage with two breakaway goals in minutes 15 and 56.

Though the Tritons were pushing for much of the contest it wasn't until the 65th minute that the team was able to finish a shot. That's when King ripped a shot past the Ranger defense for EdCC's first score. Longsine, normally a keeper, evened the score 7 minutes later when she took a deflected shot and calmly guided the ball into the OC goal.

King gave Edmonds the lead a minute later with her second goal of the game. Gray scored on two nice shots in minutes 81 and 86.

The Rangers (3-3-1, 1-3-1) did pull within one when they netted a shot between Gray's goals, but the Tritons would come away with the wild win. Olivia Olason contributed two assists in the game with Longsine adding another.

Peyton Pruett saved nine shots with her counterpart, Cassady Orstad, turning back 10 Triton attempts.

With the comeback, EdCC improves to 4-1 overall, 2-1 in league play. The Tritons travel to Aberdeen on Saturday where they will meet West foes Grays Harbor at 1 pm.
