LYNNWOOD -- The EdCC volleyball team ended a frustrating season with 3-0 loss to NWAC No. 1-ranked Olympic College Tuesday night in Golden Gym (25-14, 25-9, 25-14). The setback completes a 2-17 overall campaign from the Tritons. Edmonds finished with a 1-11 mark in league.
Ending their EdCC careers were sophomores Carly Reece, Carly Sims and Riley Stewart. Sims led the Tritons with 7 kills, Reece had 10 digs both Gabi Mahler and Mariah Martin each with 6 digs. Martin and Delaney Watson both contributed 7 assists.
Olympic hit a robust .356 Tuesday and led EdCC in every statistical category. Danielle Chu led the Rangers with 9 kills, with Ashlee Trane dishing out 23 assists.
The Rangers, won the North with a 12-0 mark and head into the NWAC tournament with a 27-6 overall record.
