Kemmerer posted an league-best 11-1 record for the NWAACC Championship winning baseball team. The sophomore right-hander compiled a 1.81 ERA in 12 starts, with four complete games and 69 strikeouts. Kemmerer was named a North Region 1st team All-Star, an All-NWAACC 2nd team pitcher and a All-NWAACC Tournament member. He also earned league all-academic honors. A leader on the Triton baseball team, Andrew is a vocal supporter of all EdCC teams and was a fixture at most home contests. Kemmerer signed with the University of Central Arkansas.
Napier starred and started for both the women's soccer and softball teams. An All-Region soccer player, Napier scored two goals and dished out an assist from her midfield position. Edmonds posted 16 wins in 2013, won the North Region regular season title and reached the NWAACC Championship game. Napier was a two-year starter for the Triton softball team as well, seeing time at just about every position on the diamond, including pitcher, catcher, infield and outfield. Napier helped lead a resurgence in the EdCC softball program this year by batting .400 with 21 runs scored, two homers, eight RBI and nine stolen bases at the plate. As a pitcher she posted a 3-3 record. Another supporter of other programs, Madisyn could be seen rooting on the Tritons at both home and away events. Napier signed to play both sports at Menlo College.
Thanks to all of our student-athletes, especially sophomores, who made this a great 2013-14 season. We appreciate all your hard work and wish you the best of luck. Athletics also wants to give a shout out to a great intramural department that was ran by Hana Segawa and Viktor Klymets. Fantastic job!
